Tom Wilson will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Saturday.

The Washington Capitals forward waived his right to an in-person hearing via Zoom. He is facing discipline for boarding Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo.

The incident occurred at 18:27 of the first period of Washington’s 5-1 loss at TD Garden on Friday. Wilson did not receive a penalty. Carlo left the game.

The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: boarding. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
