Of the 15 games remaining on Sunday and Monday, only four have NFL spreads over a touchdown. That means you can expect to see plenty of tight games on the Week 14 NFL schedule. The Vikings and Packers are 13-point home favorites, as Minnesota takes on the Detroit Lions and Green Bay faces the Washington Redskins. The Houston Texans are giving the visiting Denver Broncos nine points in the latest NFL odds, up a half-point from the opener.

Are big favorites like Minnesota, Green Bay and Houston smart plays when you consider the NFL odds this week? And which other NFL bets should you target? All of the Week 14 NFL lines are listed below, and SportsLine’s advanced computer model has all the NFL betting advice and predictions you need to make the best Week 14 NFL picks now.

Winning picks from a proven model

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,000 for $100 players on its top-rated NFL picks since its inception four years ago. It’s on a 94-64 roll on top-rated picks that dates back to 2017, and last season, the model also ranked in the Top 10 on NFLPickWatch for the third year in a row on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 96 percent of CBS Sports office pool players.

Anyone who has followed it has consistently beaten NFL odds and is way up. Now, the computer examined the latest Week 14 NFL odds and lines, simulated every snap, and its Week 14 NFL predictions are in.

Week 14 NFL picks to target

One of the model’s strongest Week 14 NFL predictions comes in Sunday 1 p.m. ET matchup between the Washington Redskins (+13) and Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Washington is 4-2 against the spread in its last six games, while the Redskins are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games against NFC North opponents.

The Redskins are riding a two-game winning streak, tripling their 2019 win total with victories over Detroit and Carolina. Derrius Guice has rushed for 161 yards, while quarterback Dwayne Haskins has thrown for 303 yards in those two victories. Washington has also gotten clutch defense when it matters, as Quinton Dunbar set up the game-winning field goal against the Lions with a last-minute interception, and the Redskins’ defense made a clutch goal-line stand late against the Panthers.

The Packers also struggle against the spread in December, going just 3-6 ATS in their last nine games during the month. The model sees the Redskins as a live home underdog that covers in well over 50 percent of simulations. The model also likes the over (41.5), which hits in well over 50 percent of simulations.

The model also has made the call against the spread, on the over-under, and on the money line for every other game on the Week 14 NFL schedule. It’s also projecting a favored Super Bowl contender to go down hard in an upset you won’t see coming, so you need to see its NFL picks before locking in any of your own.
